Abstract

A microprocessor based Remote-controlled Hydraulic Jack has been designed and constructed. It's electromechanical device that requires less effort to operate. The pumping is done by attaching the lever to a slider-crank arrangement mechanism that is driven by a direct current (D.C) electric motor to perform lifting action instead of the manual handheld method which requires more energy. The jack can be powered by a 12V supply usually from the car battery and controlled by a single multi-purpose key remote control which was tested over a range of about 10m distance from the jack. The device will be applicable personal automobile users as well as industrial systems.
