THE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF A DISSIPATION ARRAY SYSTEM FOR LIGHTNING PREVENTION

Abstract

In this paper, a device known as the Dissipation Array System (DAS), acclaimed to prevent lightning strikes within its immediate vicinity, is presented. The design and installation specifications of the system are presented. Though the system functions effectively, the principies behind its operation is not well-developed. However, the electrostatic field theory behind the operation of the DAS is developed in mathematical equations and presented in this paper.
