Abstract

This paper suggests establishment and management of small-scale enterprise as a solution to the problems of unemployment of engineering graduates in Nigeria. It discusses procedural approach through which engineer-entrepreneur can establish a new business: the type of business he may invest in and the engineering management techniques to be adopted in such ventures. The use of procedural approach to establish small-scale enterprises is presented, taking cassava starch factory as a case study. Suggestions that can enhance small business chances of survival in Nigeria were proffered.
